Our time together has been tremendously valuable to me these past five months.
I thoroughly appreciate your work and dedication to providing hope and "all possibilities"
to others. Thank you for making such a profound impact on my life.
It definitely takes an open mind and willingness to do the work necessary to create
a final letter of reconciliation for an estranged adult child.
I am most grateful for your exquisite ability and creativity to craft visuals and enlighten lessons of wisdom upon others. It's been a privilege to work with you, Barbra.
I now have two masterfully crafted, heart-felt, and sincere individual letters to send.
It has been a lengthy and arduous five and a half years of estrangement.
You have been able to touch upon the most private, sensitive and intimate topics that arise in families such as: divorce, remarriage, mental illness & health, suicide attempts, healing your own inner child, modeling as parents, as well as asking for a parent's heart-felt words to be considered for a potential reconciliation....in a delicate, compassionate, authentic and dignified way.
Again, my gratitude for assisting me to find inner peace and closure of my past
and the past that my children experienced growing up...
.and for assisting me to "show up" with presence and resilience.
I feel prepared if my sons are able to hear "my heart-felt words and choose to reconnect in a way that is easy and comfortable for them." ~KB
Turning my life over daily....and staying mindful of "All Possibilities".
I sent my letter today🤞🏻.
I will miss talking to you as I thoroughly enjoyed our time together
and not just because of estrangement issues.
It is through the process we went though that I was able to make peace with myself
and create my note of reconciliation. .
I learned a lot about how I, despite my intentions,
may have contributed to my daughter’s estrangement.
I wouldn’t have been able to do that without you!
I obviously don’t know the outcome that will transpire from the letter,
but I do know I will have given it my best.
It's comforting to share a common bond we really don’t want to be sharing...but such is life. ~MH
My work with you and the information I've received through coaching, our group and your webinars, has changed my life. I have realized that there is a big universe of things that I have no control over, but I can control MYSELF, and it takes conscious effort and the awareness of the right tools. My work with you has helped me learn and practice new skills. I've learned new ways to communicate. Most importantly, I've learned new ways to react and communicate with ME. This painful journey Is truly an inside job. Knowing that, and having access to the tools to navigate is a game changer.. Thank you, Barbra, for all your hard work putting these learning and growth opporunities together. I am so grateful that I found you. ~PM

I chose Barbra because her coaching is so comprehensive. She understands the complexities of estrangement and offers a full range of healing and relationship growth strategies. She doesn't use form letters but uses detailed information to help craft specific and personal letters designed around each client's unique situation. ~CB

"Dear Barbra, I want to thank you for the incredible heartfelt letter that you helped me to compose for my ES. You took the time to really get to know my specific situation and relationship with ES before we wrote this letter and it truly hit all of the important points. If I do not get a response, I will at least know that I did my best and that perhaps the sentiments I expressed will resonate with him at a future time. Thanks and have a very happy New Year! " ~JL
"We worked closely together over several sessions to write an email to my ED to let her know i really heard her. On my own, my letter was 1 1/2 pages long. I threw it out and together we wrote a 2 paragraph email which was short and to the point. It took courage and humility but with your help it was perfect! She responded immediately and our relationship has been restored, thanks in great part to you, Barbra. I am overjoyed and indebted to you for your insight and loving coaching. Thank you will never be enough!! You are truly gifted when it comes to helping us wade through estrangement! Your own vulnerability, caring and humility coupled with your competence is beyond measure! Thank you again!!!" ~KVN
"I am so comfortable with your help that I must tell you. I have seen differnet counselors over the years and your coaching approach is perfect for me at this stage. I have so much information in my head I really just need a guide to help me see through this and put my knowledge into practice. Thank you for being with me at this time." ~PM
"Useful! That's how I describe the lessons I've learned with Barbra. Although I came to her for help with estrangement issues, she has given me practical tools to use in ANY situation I face. Her coaching is visual, to-the-point, and personal. Her guidance has made such a difference in my life.” LB
"This is such a beautiful letter. I cannot thank you enough. Barbra, you have a true gift of sincere communication." MJ
"I am so grateful for the coaching I received from Barbra Drizin. My adult son and his wife have been estranged from all family and friends for more than five years. This estrangement has been complicated by a messy family history rife with conflict stemming from divorce, cultural barriers, religious differences, illness, and addiction. I found Barbra on Dr. Coleman’s FB community. Desperate to make contact with my son, I reached out to her. After working with Barbra on such concepts as practicing radical acceptance and establishing healthy boundaries, she helped me craft a letter to my son that, to my wonder and surprise, received a warm and receptive response from him. The short, simple letter Barbra and I wrote together communicated specific regrets, and did not bring up, explain, or justify the past. It seems the wording and tone of this carefully crafted letter provided an opening for my son. It most certainly helped him to feel safe, included, and hopeful. As Barbra says, reconnecting with estranged children requires patience. My son’s kind, thoughtful response sent a glimmer of hope, however fleeting. It suggested to me that he may be open to more communication in the future. For this, I am thrilled and so grateful to Barbra." DC
"I feel like I spent the last 18 months of my two year estrangement with my daughter so overwhelmed. Felt like I was just out there floundering, paralyzed with fear and anxiety of doing or not doing the right thing. I felt so blind sighted and hurt. I am just so grateful for the help you have given me in finding the tools that I need in my life, regardless of the outcome of the estrangement. I am becoming more focused on doing the work. I know I am better equipped to handle the future while enjoying today. As crazy as it sounds, I felt alone, even though I have wonderful support from the rest of my family and a wonderful group of friends. Barbra, the support and strength you have given me in our coaching sessions has made a tremendous impact on me - maybe its because I know you have walked in my shoes. I am so grateful." MS
"I just completed 3 of the 4 sessions. I am amazed at what I have learned about myself, acknowledged my conditioned reactions to my ED, and investigated why I've had those reactions. It's been incredibly revealing! I am so very grateful for Barbra's insight, experience and compassion. Barbra's guidance in helping us identify our deepest feelings is a gift. I am proud for the honest and well-written expression I've accomplished in the letter I'll be sending." KVN
"I appreciate all you’re teaching me. It feels like Truth. Truth hurts at times. It’s hard. But, I know it is Truth as I feel it in my gut that what you are saying is right." TL
"I started New Year's Day with a wonderful surprise. My ED of 5 years sent me 2 pictures of herself with my 2.5yr old Granddaughter, whom I never met.
Barbra, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the amazing coaching sessions and the work we accomplished. I was able to create a poignant, carefully worded, heartfelt letter.”

SUCCESS SOUNDS LIKE THIS:
From a previously estranged daughter:
"I am grateful for amends:
I think we all realize that life is short, and anything can happen at any moment in time…
and so: forget the shit, move on, and move forward… prioritizing love first.
And all these reconciliations… they’ve lifted weights off my shoulders,
and in turn, I’m more at peace in my life than ever before.”
